Tasciotti movies… but Why?

Tasciotti Movie-Director is Peter E. Tasciotti. But why movies? I started out at an early age, like many of us in the 19 60’s, 19 70’s, and 19 80’s, being exposed to cameras and experiencing the home-movie experience. During those days, that era, the technology was progressing and cameras were being marketed to the general public. Prices were reasonable and there was widespread access to the products. Experiencing the results of the camera work was in the form of paper prints of photos (or Polaroids) and the more complex watching of motion pictures on movie-screens through movie projectors. Then the technology propagated from the corporate Television industry to the general public with Beta and VHS video cameras. The video-taped movies could be played back to anybody’s home television set. All of this technology was before the major advancements of the digital and computerized movies, which we currently have in 2022, with the ubiquity of smart-phones and whatnot.

This is some background info, biographical, in order that you know the movies are the product of a "stark raving lunatic" mad scientist... I mean, a human being.

Movie production is happening on the historic event of the Poughkeepsie Railroad Bridge Fire.  

That event was about 48 years ago!  But we are working on never-before-seen footage!!  This is a genuine film movie, in that it includes actual FILM, celluloid medium.  The format is 8mm or Super 8mm (Super8).

Tasciotti as a Director is not a household name in 2020! 

How can peter tasciotti be so unknown?

We have the simple honest answer to that perplexing question!  It's because he intentionally stopped using his name in 1984. He was the real Rebel without a cause in REBELS OF 1985.  He just recently started using the name again in the past few years. Circa 2020 or 2021 Tasciotti has only been in circulation for a short time. It's like he's only a baby so far. 😆

So why did Tasciotti not use his real name for more than 35 years??? To leave his past behind? To kill his ego? To be private, secret, and unknown?

My family went on this trip somewhere in Europe. I was too slow to join them.

I'm sorry, but I am the consummate artist.  I don't think first about getting paid, I am consumed by thinking of my art, the expression of it, that alone is my purpose for the work.  Money came as an after-thought. Also, the prospect of fame has been fuzzy and hazy.  It's a vague possibility, but why should I care, I only care for the art.

First of all, this is the fundamental premise, the factual basis.  I am sure you can investigate as far as possible, only to find out this is the bonafide fact and certified truth.  Go ahead and doubt it.  It's even been suggested that I was on the payroll of Spielberg and I served the interests of Hollywood itself. 

What's true is that I was in War of The Worlds (2004).  With versatility, I jumped around in different scenes as a background extra.  An Extra, everybody's had to do extra work (unless you were born with some kinda silver spoon). Yet what should be emphasized is that I directed my own sci-fi, World War Mud in 1982. I was kinda serious back then... already.  

After that first film, I gradually continued in slow motion, until 2002, my professional breakout. 20 years that took; now another 20 years is finishing.  It's gonna be a wrap.  I am wondering what the new milestone will be in 2022, if there is any to be identified.

In any case, you can start with this over-generalized framework 1982 World War Mud, 2002 The Instant Messenger, 2004 War of the Worlds extra, 2020 Launching TimeSpace Chronicles, 2022???  After that, you can flesh out more of the details upon the skeleton.  The other specifics are diverse and demonstrate how I covered the entire entertainment industry. As an artist, remember. My art is first and foremost.

What is the art about?  How can I suggest that you start interpreting it?  Think long and hard. Of course you must.  It's the only way....

How I got into Movie making

Movies! What is a movie? How many videos have you watched in so many years (since as far back as 1982)? It makes us wonder: how did movie making begin, where and when did the first one happen?

Initially, there were a lot of movies from the Nickelodeon machines of the industrial revolution until now in this post-modern haze, there were silent films in theaters, then talkies and Technicolor, there were artful cartoons, cinema, Hollywood, then video technology arrived, Television, with broadcast, live streaming, unto digital formatting and world wide web. This entire embryonic phase led ultimately to the true second wave at the debut of World War Mud. I know, you’re saying Wow, this Mud movie was a monumental turning point! It was, it surely was. Let me tell you about its potency in terms of movies and the true purpose therein.

1981–1984 was a pivotal era(even though very few in the generation knew it at the time). 1981, 82, 83, years setting the stage for 1984, which was already eerily announced in the Book by the same name -1984 — forcibly downloaded to the children of that Day and Age. In other words, something had to have happened immediately prior to it which would precipitate its manifestation, the basic realization of 1984. A quasi-prequel. World War Mud was symbolic of the zeitgeist and produced in 1982. 

I usually am inclined to cite the production of “The Instant Messenger (Mission)” which was started in Washington, DC during the 2002 Spring/Summer, one score years after 1982’s World War Mud.
